Counselors
We believe that counseling should begin with an understanding of people as spiritual, physical and psychological beings. Our counselors blend Christ-centered, Biblically based principles, along with proven psychological principles to promote emotional, relational and spiritual healing. While the counselor may provide suggestions for change to the client, ultimately, the client is always seen as a person accountable for his/her own decisions.
Everyone within the Center seeks to glorify Jesus Christ first and foremost. Listed below are the options that the Counseling Center offers:
Rev. Scott Laws
Rev. Laws' counseling is limited to only members and there is no charge. Due to the large number of members, sessions with him are limited to approximately 8 sessions. If you need additional sessions he will refer you to one of the other professional counselors if you are interested.
L.P.C. Counselors
We are pleased that we have a team in place to assist Rev. Laws with many needs of the congregation. Our referral network of counselors are licensed in North Carolina and all are master level counselors. They are not on staff, nor paid by the church for their services, therefore, there is a fee for their counseling.
